On Windows, I get this error in my logs: "The requested operation requires elevation. ERROR: Windows route add command failed: returned error code 1"

This is only applicable if you're using the default OpenVPN program and not BolehVPN-GUI. If you are running Windows 7/Vista, you need to run OpenVPN in admin mode by enabling it in compatibility settings (this was also detailed in our installation guide):

1. Browse to C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\bin
2. You will see openvpn.exe and openvpn-gui.exe.
3. Right click on them, click on Properties, Go to the Compatibility Tab and check 'Run as Administrator' for BOTH files.
4. If you have disabled UAC, you can skip the above steps.

If you are running the BolehVPN client instead:

1. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\BolehVPN\
2. You will see BolehVPN.exe
3. Right click on it, click on Properties, Go to the Compatibility Tab and check 'Run as Administrator' for BOTH files.
4. If you have disabled UAC, you can skip the above steps.
